IFR is a friendly arrangement held every second year for Vega-sailors from many countries (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Germany, Holland, Great Britain, Switzerland, USA). Many participants will just come together looking on each others boats while competing in a friendly way.

The next IFR will be held at Marstrand, the major sailing centre of the west coast of Sweden, in the summer of 2004.

Mooring facilities for 134 boats have already been booked.

Both the Carlstens Castle and The Society House have also been booked for events during the regatta.

Tuesday July 27th		Racing, Guided tour of Carlstens Castle & Viking Night!
Wednesday July 28th		Coach tour to Gothenberg for shopping, Liseberg Amusement
Thursday July 29th		Racing
Friday July 30th		Shore activities. Regatta Dinner in The Society House
Saturday July 31st		Closing Ceremony and Farewell to Marstrand

Costs for participating will be approximately 800 SEK (£70) per boat which includes mooring fees for five days. Costs for the events (Viking Night, Regatta Dinner, Coach Trip etc) will be kept to as low as possible. All final costs will be on the Final Registration Form which will be sent to all who have preliminary registered by the end of 2003.
