Southern Comfort V1703 being Towed by Isuzu Trooper (Bighorn) Feb 2001
 The SWB Isuzu has a 3.1 Turbo Diesel which manages to tow the Vega comfortably at about 40 mph. There is also a LWB version which would, perhaps, be slightly more stable but so long as you keep below 40 mph there were no stability problems. Down steep inclines a lower gear was engaged to keep control of the speed without using the brakes. A total distance of 128 miles was covered in 4hrs 35 mins. Care should be taken with tyre pressure and the trailer brake system.
