Aquila V****

Aquila is an ex petrol Vega with a Yanmar 1GM10 installed. She is kept in Brixham but will soon be moved to her new home in Uskmouth near Newport in Gwent where she will join Dave Cox's Vega "Lady Jane" V1787. Aquila is owned by Pete Philips who bought her this year after many years crewing on various Vegas around the country. Pete is an accomplished single-handed sailor having completed many miles in his Kingfisher 22 (Shauna) whilst searching for the many pubs and grubs around the Bristol Channel, Penarth, Ilfracombe and Barry are among his favourite haunts. Some superficial work needs to be carried out on Aquila but all she really needs is some TLC to bring her up to a good cruising standard.
